The O'Reilly bozo

Now on a crusade for the catholic church in San Francisco. Two outrageously dressed churchgoers got in line with other churchgoers to receive communion.

This upset O'Reilly, referring to the two as 'two militants' who 'trespassed' and were 'guilty of disturbing the peace'.
A FoxNews assassin cornered the Mayor of San Francisco who responded "I can't even respond until I know the facts" which in O'Reilly's estimation was 'dishonest'. It is not clear what the dishonesty consisted of.

O'Reilly further claims to be able to read my mind, asserting that "We all know -- if this sacrilege had been done in a mosque ....." Personally, I know no such thing.

This further begs the question: "Is there a dress code that churchgoers have to follow, and who sets the standard? O'Reilly maybe.

Didn't this Jesus guy wear a long robe, albeit without wig and makeup?

So what is O'Reilly complaining about? No crime was committed, no sin was committed, no one from the church complained, O'Reilly said that he was told that the DA would prosecute if someone filed a complaint. And what would the complaint be? O'Reilly didn't like it?

Archbishop Niederauer: " I think that when I stand at Communion time ... to distribute Communion, I, like all priests and bishops, am counting on the individual communicant who's coming forward to receive communion to decide whether he or she is worthy of Communion. I am not here principally as a gatekeeper. I am here as a priest and a celebrant to give forth the Eucharist (2/4/2007)"

"Those ... who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin, are not to be admitted to Holy Communion." [The Code of Canon Law #915]
